United States women’s national team vs. Vietnam live stream: How to watch World Cup online, TV, time

The time has come for the U.S. women’s national team to defend its title as it opens FIFA Women’s World Cup play Friday, July 21 against Vietnam. The match, which will take place at Eden Park in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau, will be live streamed on fuboTV (free trial) and on DirecTV Stream (free trial).

The U.S. women’s national soccer team roster was officially announced last month, and includes nine players who were members of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup championship squad and 14 players who were named to their first World Cup roster.

The group stage opener will be the first meeting ever between USWNT and Vietnam, but it will mark the fifth consecutive World Cup in which the US has faced an opponent from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in its opening game of the tournament.

The USWNT opened the World Cup against Korea DPR in both 2007 and 2011, faced off against Australia in the first group match in 2015 World Cup and then opened the 2019 World Cup group against Thailand in France.

When is the USWNT-Vietnam World Cup game?

The U.S. women’s national soccer team starts at 8 p.m. (9 p.m. ET) on Friday, July 21.

Will it be live streamed?
